Jordan Thornton
Jordan is a proud Arizonan with experience defined by a deep commitment to equity, accountability, and community impact. She believes in strengthening the systems that serve people; especially those who are often overlooked. Jordan received her B.A. in Collaborative Health and Human Services at California State University, Monterey Bay. While there, she interned with Monterey County’s District Attorney’s Office Cold Case Task Force, assisting with federal grant compliance, coordinating volunteers, and supporting case investigations. That experience deepened her connection to justice work, contributing to a much needed service in her community, and reinforcing her belief in the power of responsive and people-centered government. She feels honored to be a part of the Fellowship, where innovation and public service come together to prepare the next generation of local government leaders.
